Wise & Well
Wise and Well is a consumerism strategy that transforms employees into proactive, educated consumers of healthcare.
Wise and Well combines an assessment of employees knowledge and behaviors, with targeted interventions to align resources and information and make continued progress toward increased knowledge and appropriate consumer behaviors.

HealthCorp Solutions brochure series – Live Well, Work Well – focuses on health and wellness issues. They teach employees
how to live healthy lives and focus on preventive care. The Wellness series are designed to help you, the employer develop a Culture
of Wellness, with information on Health Fairs, Employee Surveys, Incentives, Measuring results, etc.

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) includes specific rules governing wellness program incentives.

  • The incentive or penalty cannot exceed 20% of the cost of employee only health coverage.

  • The program must be reasonably designed to promote health and prevent disease.

  • The program must give eligible individuals the opportunity to qualify at least once per year.

  • There must be a reasonable alternative standard to obtain the reward for any individual for whom it is unreasonably difficult due to medical condition, or medically in advisable to satisfy the standard.

  • The plan must disclose program terms and conditions all printed or online materials.
